The Omega 40.6 was developed to be a cheaper alternative "calibre de crise" to the more expensive 19''' LOB. However it was manufactured in 959.400 pcs and was a great success. Manufactured between 1923 and 1936 as lepine and savonette versions with 15 - 17 jewels.
